427. Central to The Gospel – Brigham Young quote, 1859

We have the promise, if we seek first the kingdom of God and its righteousness, that all necessary things will he added to us. We should not be distrustful, but seek first to know how to please our Father and God—seek to know how to save ourselves from the errors that are in the world… and learn how to save and preserve ourselves upon the earth, to preach the Gospel, build up the kingdom, and establish the Zion of our God.

Boom! Blueprint for building Zion was already revealed to the prophets?!! I was thunderstruck by this book. Building Zion involves the application of strategic economics? We've been neglecting our duty for over 100 years? What is going on?The long lost principles in this book are like the Sword in the Stone, half buried in moss and overgrowth. The truth has been here all along, we just haven't recognized it.
