Several months ago while in the temple, when the covenant on Consecration was given, I had an impression asking how I could keep that covenant. Since then it has been consistently on my mind.
Consecrating some of our time, talents and possessions is practical but how do you keep all? In thinking about others who have made that covenant, I realize that we have an enormous amount of talent, time, and resources. If these could be utilized to build up the Kingdom of God and establish Zion, much could be done.
It just seems to me that if we are making the covenant and have desires to keep it, then we should work towards bringing it about. In meditating on what I can do, my immediate answer came in “keeping the covenant made in the sacrament – always remembering Christ.” RBW
