67. It’s Temporal Too!, Daniel H. Wells, 1861

To build up Zion is a temporal labor; it does not consist simply in teaching: teaching is to instruct us how to properly apply our labor, the sooner and better to accomplish the end in view. Bone and sinew is required to build up the kingdom of God in the last days.

Boom! Blueprint for building Zion was already revealed to the prophets?!! I was thunderstruck by this book. Building Zion involves the application of strategic economics? We've been neglecting our duty for over 100 years? What is going on?The long lost principles in this book are like the Sword in the Stone, half buried in moss and overgrowth. The truth has been here all along, we just haven't recognized it.
