30. Early Utahns Were Building Zion, Brigham Young, 1856

But let me engage in active operations, even though I do not personally perform one day’s manual labor, let me see the result of my thinking budding into existence, and my mind has something to rest upon. If I cannot carry out that which is in my mind—that which I wish to accomplish in all the improvements, in building up Zion in the latter days, as soon as I am deprived of the necessary physical labor I withdraw my mind from that object; I will not suffer my mind to rest upon it.

Boom! Blueprint for building Zion was already revealed to the prophets?!! I was thunderstruck by this book. Building Zion involves the application of strategic economics? We've been neglecting our duty for over 100 years? What is going on?The long lost principles in this book are like the Sword in the Stone, half buried in moss and overgrowth. The truth has been here all along, we just haven't recognized it.
