495. We are obligated to build Zion – John Taylor quote, 1881

What is this Priesthood given us for? That we may be enabled to build up the Zion of our God.

– John Taylor, 1/9/1881

Not sure there’s any other way to interpret this quote other than that the whole point of us being given the Priesthood was so that we would be able to build Zion.

Boom! Blueprint for building Zion was already revealed to the prophets?!! I was thunderstruck by this book. Building Zion involves the application of strategic economics? We've been neglecting our duty for over 100 years? What is going on?The long lost principles in this book are like the Sword in the Stone, half buried in moss and overgrowth. The truth has been here all along, we just haven't recognized it.
